Betty Weissman was born in Dvinski, Russian Empire (now Russia) on 2 August 1893 (claimed 29 June 1894). At some point of her life, she emigrated to the United States.
As of her claimed 106th birthday (she was actually nearing 107) in 2000, Weissman was living in the Claremont Rehab and Living Center in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
Betty Weissman died in Illinois, United States on 14 April 2006 at the age of 112 years, 255 days (claimed 111 years, 289 days).
