Beulah Christie (née Etue; 25 August 1901 – 20 January 2013) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography

Beulah Christie was born in Turner, Michigan, USA on 25 August 1901. Her parents were Oliver Etue, a Canadian immigrant and Mary (née Nellett) Etue. She had seven siblings.

She married Reuben Christie in Bay City, Michigan on 24 September 1923. The couple four had chidren: Lorraine Hollander, Jerry Christie, Donald Christie and Marlene Behrmann (deceased). She got widowed in 1986.

At 105, she was still able to drive.

Beulah Christie died at 7:15 a.m. after she acquired pneumonia and then a stroke in Melbourne, Florida, USA on 20 January 2013 at the age of 111 years, 148 days. She was survived by daughter Lorraine Hollander; son Jerry Christie; daughter-in Law Judy; son Donald; 12 grandchildren Lisa, Claudia, Renee, Sharon, Barbara, Linda, Carol, Larry, Debbie, Don Jr., Kathy and Sue; 25 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and three friends Loraine Lambert, Carol Freole and Claudette Wilson.
