Blanche Chevrier (née Robinson; 20 February 1898 – 20 March 2008) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Blanche Chevrier was born in Perry, Maine, USA on 20 February 1898. Her parents were Capt. Seward Robinson and Susan (née Bulmer) Robinson. She had six brothers. She moved to Eastport at the tender age of two years old.

She married Edmund Chevrier at St. Joseph R.C. Church in Eastport, Maine, USA on 1 February 1915. The couple had six children: Alice Shaw (1915–2002), Capt. Edmund Paul Chevrier (1917–1989), Joseph Chevrier (1919–1995), Blanche "Pat" Pottle, Norma Smith (1936–2012), John "Jack" Chevrier. She got widowed in 1960.

She was a Communicant of St. Joseph R.C. Church. She was also a charter member of the Daughters of Isabella and a lifelong member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #558.

She lived at Eastport Memorial Nursing Home.

Blanche Chevrier died in Eastport, Maine, USA on 20 March 2008 at the age of 110 years, 29 days. She is survived by three children John "Jack" Chevrier, Blanche "Pat" Pottle and Norma Smith; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
