Burbridge Coleman Trenum (1 January 1816? – 26 March 1931) was an American longevity claimant from Virginia.
Biography[]
Burbridge Trenum claimed that he was born in Richmond, Henrico County, Virginia, USA on 1 January 1816. He was a Civil War veteran fighting on both sides. He was mustered into the 7th Virginia Cavalry, Co. F (Ashby's Cavalry - Confederate) on 10 Jun 1861 and deserted sometime in 1863. He was mustered into the 1st Potomac Home Brigade Cavalry, Co. D (Union) in 1864, and the 2nd MD Cavalry in 1865. He was married twice and he had 33 children and over 200 grandchildren. He died in Phoenix, Westernport, Allegany County, Maryland, USA on 26 March 1931 at the claimed age of 115 years, 84 days. He was more likely born in 1829 which would make him only 102 years old.
