Carmen Villanueva (née Bonilla; 6 July 1898 – 9 March 2011) was a Mexican-American supercentenarian whose age is validated by Latin American Supercentenarians (LAS).
Biography[]
Carmen Bonilla was born in Valle de Allende, Chihuahua, Mexico on 6 July 1898. She was the daughter of Cruz Bonilla and Felipa Parra. She married Jesus Jose Villanueva in the same town on 6 October 1916 and had several children together with him. The family emigrated to the USA in the 1940's and settled in El Paso, Texas.
Carmen Villanueva died in El Paso, Texas, USA, on 9 March 2011, at the age of 112 years, 246 days. Her age was validated by LAS in 2019. The validation was later accepted by LongeviQuest (LQ).
