Catarina Teodoro (20 May 1910 – 2 December 2020) was a Brazilian supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2023.
Biography[]
Catarina Teodoro was born in Barra Dourada, Neves Paulista, Sao Paulo, Brazil on 20 May 1910. Her parents were Alfredo Francisco and Matilde Teodoro. She worked as farmer. She married and had five children (two of which deceased as of May 2015). Circa 1989, her husband died in an accident.
In May 2020, she celebrated her 110th birthday. She lived with her son Leonildo Evangelista (aged 70 in May 2015).
Catarina Teodoro died in Mirassol, Sao Paulo, Brazil on 2 December 2020 at the age of 110 years, 196 days. She was survived by three children: Abilio, Leonildo and Nelson.
