Catherine Gode(born January 18 1914) is a French supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Catherine was born January 18th 1914 in Paris, France, to Francois Marie Celton and Marie Adolphine Celton, nee Le Gouil.On 30 September 1933, Catherine married André Gode in Mainvilliers, Eure-et-Loir, and they had at least two daughters together.. During the Second World War, Catherine and her husband hid French people fleeing from the Nazi’s in their attic. They took an active role in the resistance of Nazism. Andre passed away in 1976, leaving Catherine a widow – she never remarried.
Catherine currently lives in Luce, Eure-et-Loir, at the age of 110 years, 318 days
With the death of Lucienne Moreau, she is the oldest living person in Centre-Val de Loire
