Cathrine Augustin (25 November 1905? – fl. 26 November 2015) was a Haitian supercentenarian claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Catherine Augustin claimed to have been born in Port de Paix, Haiti on 25 November 1905. When she was a centenarian she moved from Port de Paix to Port au Prince to live with her grandchildren. She had one son, and at her claimed 110th birthday, she had multiple grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
On her claimed 110th birthday in 2015, Augustin said she felt good and rarely had to see the doctor. The day after her claimed 110th birthday, she appeared on a local radio show, Radio Caraibes FM, where she attributed her longevity to organic food.
She was last known to be alive on 26 November 2015 at the claimed age of 110 years, 1 days. At that time, she lived in Port au Prince, Haiti.
