Cenek Petrik [Czech: Čeněk Petřík] (23 October 1910 – 14 January 2017) was a Czech centenarian who was the oldest living man in Czech Republic at the time of his death.

Biography[]

Cenek Petrik was born in Doubravice, Trutnov District, Hradec Králové Region, Austria-Hungary (present-day Czech Republic) on 23 October 1910. He worked as a glassblower for the Christmas Ornaments cooperative. He played seven musical instruments and his clarinet helped spread the fame of the band Doubravanka.

He became the oldest living man in Czech Republic, following the death of 106-year old Martin Kahun on 26 June 2016.

Cenek Petrik died in Doubravice, Trutnov District, Hradec Králové Region, Czech Republic on 14 January 2017 at the age of 106 years, 83 days. Following his death, then 104-year-old Jiri Vysoudil became the oldest known living man in the Czech Republic.
