Dr. Charlotte Dallas Allen (née Sandison; 6 February 1878 – 23 October 1988) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG)
Biography[]
Charlotte Allen was born as Charlotte Dallas Sandison in Brooklyn, New York, United States on 6 February 1878 as the daughter of George Henry and Charlotte Baxter Sandison. Charlotte went to Medical School and graduated with a Medical Degree in 1917.
She married George Beecher Allen in Manhattan, New York on 18 December 1931, she never had any children. At the age of 103, Charlotte moved to West Des Moines, Iowa in order to live closer to her nephew.
Charlotte Allen died in Des Moines, Iowa, United States on 23 October 1988, aged 110 years, 260 days.
