Chester Meros (born 14 July 1915) is an American centenarian who is currently the oldest known living man in the U.S. state of Maryland, and the third-oldest known living man in the United States, behind Edwin Martin and Henry Polichetti.
Biography[]
Chester Meros was born in Pennsylvania on 14 July 1915. He moved to Baltimore in 1943 looking for a job. He eventually got a job working as a ship builder for Bethlehem Steel which Exempted him from Service in WW2. His Favorite ship was the USS John Brown.
He became the oldest known living man in the U.S. state of Maryland, following the death of 111-year-old Ezra Hill on 4 October 2022.
Chester Meros currently Lives in Baltimore, Maryland at the age of 109 years, 211 days.
