Clara "Clarita" Climent Andreu (1 November 1913 – 27 January 2022) was an Uruguayan centenarian who was one of the oldest victims of the COVID-19 pandemic. She also was one of the oldest known people in Uruguay at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Clara Climent Andreu was born in Montevideo, Montevideo Department, Uruguay on 1 November 1913. Her parents were Spanish immigrants Vicente and Clara.
She married Carlos Juan Genta on 21 October 1933. Her first child was named Gerardo.
She lived her entire life in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Climent Andreu died from COVID-19 in Montevideo, Montevideo Department, Uruguay on 27 January 2022 at the age of 108 years, 87 days.
