Clara Belle Jacobs (née Harrod; 9 September 1866 - 18 October 1977) was an American woman notable for her longevity. She was born in Union, Auglazie, Ohio as the daughter of Levi and Susan Foght Harrod. She married Alva Warren Jacobs on 8 February 1887 and had a foster daughter, Beatrice. She was widowed in 1938 and lived out her life in Spencerville, Ohio. Clara Jacobs died in Spencerville, Ohio on 18 October 1977, aged 111 years, 39 days. Her age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2021.
