Clotila Dollie Pedroza (née Perkins, formerly Russell; 29 November 1913 – 30 April 2024) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Clotila Dollie Pedroza was born in Missouri, USA on 29 November 1913 to Henry and Sarah (née Knight) Perkins. She spent her childhood living in Northwestern Arkansas, USA. She had two sisters and one brother along with two older stepbrothers from her mother's first marriage to Edward Abbott, who had died in 1911.
In October 1930, about a month before her 17th birthday, she married John Jack Russell. They moved to Dinuba, Tulare County, California in the mid-1930's and had a total of seven children: 4 sons and 3 daughters. John Jack Russell died in September 1970 and she then married Refugio Pedroza in Carson City, Nevada, USA in December 1976. Refugio Pedroza died in January 2000.
In November 2023, she celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian. At the time of her 110th birthday, she had 3 living children, 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and 6 stepchildren.
Clotila Dollie Pedroza died in Dinuba, California, USA on 30 April 2024 at the age of 110 years, 153 days.
