Confesora Pena (Spanish: Confesora Peña; 3 July 1910 – 12 December 2020) was a Dominican Republic supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she may have been the oldest known living person in the Dominican Republic.

Biography

Confesora Pena was born in Peravia Province, Dominican Republic on 3 July 1910.

In July 2020, she celebrated her 110th birthday, becoming a supercentenarian. Following the death of 114-year-old Tomas Pinales Figuereo on 24 September 2020, she became the oldest known living person in the Dominican Republic.

Confesora Pena died in Nizao, Peravia Province, Dominican Republic on 12 December 2020 at the age of 110 years, 162 days. Following her death, then 108-year-old Lilian Gonzalez de Andujar became the oldest known living person in the Dominican Republic.
