Clarine "Connie" Marks (8 October 1912 – 19 October 2022) was an American supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2023.
Biography[]
Marks was born on 8 October 1912 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. After high school, she moved to Chicago, Illinois with her sister. Marks and her husband opened a supper club there, where she met many celebrities. After living in Chicago for 75 years, she moved back to Iowa. At the time of her 105th birthday in 2017, Marks was living in an independent retirement community in Iowa City, Iowa. She died on 19 October 2022, 11 days after her 110th birthday.
