Concordia "Connie" Williams (née Deeken; 26 June 1912 – 10 December 2022) was an American supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2023.
Biography[]
Concordia "Connie" Williams was born in Taylor, North Dakota, USA on 26 June 1912, the daughter of Frederick and Therese (née Krueger) Deeken. She grew up on a farm in North Dakota with her three siblings. The 1940 census finds her living in Los Angeles, California with her younger brother, Fred.
Williams married William Roy Asher in Eugene, Oregon in August 1942 and the couple opened a grocery store in Los Angeles. Asher died in January 1965, and she remarried Frederic Williams in 1966. He died in 1991. She did not have any children.
Connie Williams died in Emerald Court, Anaheim, Orange County, California, USA on 10 December 2022 at the age of 110 years, 167 days. At the time of her death, she was believed to be the oldest known living person in Orange County, California, and was also among the oldest known living people in the U.S. state of California.
