Cornelia Basquin (14 June 1909? – 15 February 2021) was a Haitian-born Canadian supercentenarian claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Basquin was allegedly born on 14 June 1909 in Coteaux, Haiti. She had four children, one of whom predeceased her. She emigrated to Canada in 1987. She could still dance at the age of 106. She died in her family home in Quebec, Canada, on 15 February 2021 at the claimed age of 111 years, 246 days. She was survived by three of her four children, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
