Cosme Duran (born 27 September 1918) is a Belizean centenarian who is currently the second oldest living person in Belize, after Gilbert Ellis. He is also the second oldest known man ever from Belize.

Biography[]

Cosme Duran was born in Progreso Town, Corozal District, British Honduras (now Belize), on 27 September 1918, to Maria Herrera, a single mother. Cosme Duran took his surname from his mother's midwife.

At some point in his life, he moved to Orange Walk Town, Orange Walk District, Belize; the Central Park is his favourite place to unwine.

On 14 September 2025, Cosme Duran along with Efigenia Cal participated to a patriotic event in Orange Walk.

Cosme Duran currently lives in Orange Walk Town, Orange Walk District, Belize at the age of 107 years, 74 days.
