Cruz Hernandez Rivas (3 May 1878? – 8 March 2007) was a Salvadoran longevity claimant.
Biography[]
Cruz Hernandez claimed to have been born on 3 May 1878 in San Sebastián, San Vicente, El Salvador. She was baptized in Catholic Church of San Sebastian but she had no birth or baptism certificate. She gave birth to 13 children.
In last years of her life she was in really bad shape. After she had a meal and after she went to sleep, Cruz died in sleep on 8 March 2007. Her claimed age is 128 years, 309 days. At time of death she had 60 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great grandchildren.
In 2015, researchers on The 110 Club found a potential birth record suggesting that Cruz Hernandez may have been born in 1893 instead which would make her 113 years and 309 days old at time of death.
