Dante Parlani (23 November 1905 – 25 March 2016) was an Italian supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Dante Parlani was born in Apecchio, Marche, Italy on 23 November 1905. He moved to the city of Citta di Castello in 1950, and resided there until his death over 65 years later. Parlani worked as a farmer, and is noted for having managed over one hundred farms during his career, between 1933 and 1983.

Parlani celebrated his 110th birthday in November 2015, receiving a telegram from the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella.

Dante Parlani died in Citta di Castello on 25 March 2016 at the age of 110 years, 123 days. At the time of his death, he was the second-oldest known living man in Italy, behind only Valerio Piroddi. He was also the oldest man ever to have lived in Umbria region.
