Desiree Delory [French: Désirée Delory] (née Foucher; 12 June 1854 – 7 July 1962) was a French centenarian who was the oldest known living person in France at the time of her death.

Biography[]

Desiree Foucher was born in Saint-Cyr-du-Gault, Centre-Val de Loire, France on 12 June 1854. On 19 February 1873, aged 21, she married Emmanuel Delory, from who she had at least two children: Ruphine and Misael. Her husband died in 1938.

Desiree Delory died in Gombergean, Centre-Val de Loire, France on 7 July 1962 at the age of 108 years, 25 days. She was the known doyenne of France at the time of her death. Her successor was probably Ferdinise Nebolle of Martinique.
