Teodorita "Dora" McRae (née Swyers; 29 August 1899 – 26 September 2010) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She is the oldest validated person ever to have been born in the state of New Mexico.

Biography[]

Dora McRae was born in New Mexico, USA on 29 August 1899. Her parents were William Henry Swyers, Sr (1846–1934) and Maria Amada (née Baca Provencio) Swyers (1874–1943). She was named ''Teodorita'' after her grandmother, Teodora Provencio Pineda. Her father was the last known Civil War veteran in Tucson.

She married Grady S. McRae in Cochise, Arizona on 2 December 1916. The couple had at least one son: John David "Jack" McRae (1932–1946), who died trying to save his friend from drowning. She got widowed in 1963.

She lived at Golden Crest Assisted Living Center.

Dora McRae died in Westminster, Maryland, USA on 26 September 2010 at the age of 111 years, 28 days.
