Dorothy Ziegenfuss was born Dorothy Ehrsam in Pennsylvania, United States, on 9 July 1905 to parents William and Marie Ehrsam. She married Robert H. Ziegenfuss in 1929. The couple had one son, Robert Jr. He died in 1996.
Dorothy Ziegenfuss died on 16 August 2015 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania aged 110 years, 38 days. Her possible 1910 and 1920 census matches support a birth in 1905 for her.
