Dusan Stojovic [Montenegrin: Dušan Stojović, Montenegrin Cyrillic: Душан Стојовић] (22 February 1900 – 1 July 2007) was a Montenegrin centenarian who was the oldest living person in Montenegro at the time of his death. He was also the oldest known Montenegrin man ever until 21 January 2014, when his age was surpassed by Krsto Vojvodić (1906–2015).

Biography[]

Dušan Stojović was born in the village of Donji Martinići, Danilovgrad Municipality, Principality of Montenegro (now Montenegro), on 22 February 1900, to parents Rade Stojović, and Njegosava Stojović. At some point, he married his wife Stanka, and had eight children, sons: Milorad, Radosav, and Toma, daughters: Vojislavka, Ana, Dragica, Jovanka, and Maruška.

On 22 February 2000, he celebrated his 100th birthday, becoming a centenarian.

Dušan Stojović died in the village of Donji Martinići, Danilovgrad Municipality, Montenegro, on 1 July 2007, at the age of 107 years, 129 days. Following his death, then 104-year-old Taib Alihodžić became the oldest known living man and person in Montenegro.
