Edith Marjorie Fletcher (née Rink; 8 September 1913 – 21 February 2024) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Edith Fletcher was born in New York, USA on 8 September 1913 to Edward and Ethel Rink. She lived in the Bronx until at least 1935, after which she lived in Tuckahoe, NY.
In September 2023, Edith celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
Edith Fletcher died in Sarasota, Florida, USA on 21 February 2024, at the age of 110 years, 166 days. At the time of her death, she was the fourth-oldest known living person in the state of Florida.
