Elba Alves Correa Rolin (26 April 1910 – 19 March 2021) was a Brazilian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Elba Alves Rolim was born in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil on 26 April 1910. Her mother died of Spanish flu. She had six siblings. She married Herminio de Freitas Rolim.
At age 105 years, she fell and broke her femur, but after surgery, she started walking again. In April 2020, she celebrated her 110th birthday. She lived in Copacabana neighbourhood. Her granddaughter Patricia Andrade is a journalist.
Elba Alves Rolim died of natural causes in Rio de Janeiro City, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil on 19 March 2021 at the age of 110 years, 327 days.
