She moved to the Kotsiati Community after the Turkish Invasion, with most of her relatives originating from the same place. Eleni Michael Tanousi Kamilari (1 January 1903 – 24 May 2011) was a centenarian from Cyprus.
Biography
Eleni Tanousi was born in Agia Marina Skyllouras, in the north of Cyprus on 1 January 1903. She moved to the Kotsiati Community after the Turkish Invasion, with most of her relatives originating from the same place. Eleni Tanousi passed away on 24 May 2011 at the age of 108 years, 143 days.[1] She had 8 children, 40 grandchildren, 90 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren. Eleni Tanousi is currently oldest known woman ever from Cyprus.
