Elisabeth Marie Louise Frenoy (née Popelin; 7 February 1907 – 20 April 2019) was a French supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).


Elisabeth Frenoy was born Elisabeth Marie Louise Popelin in Chalons-en-Champagne, Marne, Grand Est, France on 7 February 1907 as the fourth of five children born to parents Rene and Germaine (née Bellanger) Popelin. She had four siblings (three of whom would later become centenarians): Jean (1901–2006), Camille (1902–2006), Paul (1904–1989) and Marie (1912–2018). Her mother died in 1923 at aged just 44. On 29 June 1929, she married Pierre Frenoy and had four children with him.

On 11 March 1953, Elisabeth's father Rene died at aged 85. Pierre died on 5 June 1982, a few weeks before what would have been the couple's 53rd wedding anniversary. He was 79 years old when he died. In 1989, her brother Paul was the first of her siblings to died at aged 85.

Frenoy’s two remaining brothers, Jean and Camille Popelin, later lived to be 105 and 103 years old respectively, and her sister, Marie Godinot, died on 26 April 2018 aged 106.

Following the death of Henriette Boeuf on 23 July 2016, she became the oldest living person in Marne departement.

Elisabeth Frenoy died in Chalons-en-Champagne, Marne, Grand Est, France, on 20 April 2019 at the age of 112 years, 72 days. She was the seventh-oldest known person in France.

On the day of her death, Frenoy's age was validated by the GRG.
