Elisabeth Lemoine [French: Élisabeth] (1 October 1918 – 22 December 2024) was a centenarian from Saint Pierre and Miquelon, an overseas territory of France. She is the oldest known person ever from Saint Pierre and Miquelon.
Biography[]
Elisabeth Lemoine was born in Lamaline, Newfoundland, Canada on 1 October 1918. She settled in Saint Pierre and Miquelon in 1936, and married Charles Lemoine three years later at the age of 21. She celebrated her 100th birthday in Saint Pierre and Miquelon on 1 October 2018. She had 8 children and 20 grandchildren. She also has 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Elisabeth Lemoine died in Saint-Pierre, Saint Pierre and Miquelon on 22 December 2024, at the age of 106 years, 82 days. She was the oldest known living person in Saint Pierre and Miquelon at the time of her death.
