Elisabeth Trankner [German: Elisabeth Tränkner] (11 August 1906 – 7 November 2018) was a German supercentenarian who was one of the oldest living people in Germany at the time of her death. Her age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 12 September 2021.

Biography

Elisabeth Trankner was born in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany on 11 August 1906. She lost her mother at an early age and lived with her grandparents until her father married again. In 1939, Elisabeth married engineer Walter Trankner, but was widowed in 1945. She worked as an accountant at Fouquet & Frauz. On her 110th birthday in 2016, she was greeted by Winfried Kretschmann, Prime minister of Baden-Wurttemberg.

Trankner died in Rothenburg am Neckar Bavaria, Germany on 7 November 2018 at the age of 112 years, 88 days.
