Elizabeth Hanna (4 April 1907 – 16 July 2017) was a Canadian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She was one of the top 10 oldest known people in Canada when she died.

Elizabeth Hanna was born on 4 April 1907 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She later married and had a son, Ralph, in around 1939. Elizabeth spent most of her adult life in Toronto’s annex neighbourhood with her family.

After the death of her husband, Elizabeth lived on her own until she was 102, when she was injured as a result of a fall. It was then that she moved into Sunnycrest Nursing Home in Whitby, Ontario.

On her 109th birthday, a celebration was held in Elizabeth’s nursing home, with three generations of her family attending. Elizabeth often whispered or wrote on a board when she wanted to communicate. Her family claim that her secret to a long life is loving the outdoors, reading books, and having a positive attitude. Elizabeth said her secret was “just keep breathing”.

Elizabeth Hanna passed away on 16 July 2017 in Whitby, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 110 years, 103 days. She was one of the oldest known people in Ontario at the time of her death.
