Elizabeth "Liz" Jordan (15 January 1912 – 6 March 2022) was an Australian supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2023.
Biography[]
Elizabeth Jordan was born in Queensland, Australia on 15 January 1912. She was raised in West Ipswich, Queensland alongside her five siblings. She married Joseph Jordan and had two children: Peter and Valerie.
In February 2020, she had an operation to take out a cancer. As of November 2021, she had five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
In January 2022, she celebrated her 110th birthday.
Jordan died at the Brassall Village Aged Care Facility in Brassall, Ipswich, Queensland, Australia on 6 March 2022, at the age of 110 years, 50 days.
