Ellen Elvira Johansson (née Mansson; 23 January 1887 – 6 July 1997) was a validated Swedish supercentenarian who was one of the oldest people in Sweden when she died on 6 July 1997.[1][2]
Biography
Ellen Johansson was born Ellen Elvira Mansson on 23 January 1887 as the third daughter of Olof and Anna (née Andresdottir) Mansson. She lived in Barslov until sometime after 1910; after that she moved to Helsingborg. She married a man with the last name Johansson.
Ellen Johansson died on 6 July 1997 in Helsingborg, Sweden aged 110 years, 164 days. Her case was verified by Foti Tillo. A rechecking of her case on Christmas Day 2015 proved she was the age claimed.
