Elvira Clarke (18 September 1911 – 5 January 2018) was a Manx centenarian who was the oldest known living person in the Isle of Man until her death.[1][2]
Biography
Elvira Clarke was born in Isle of Man, UK on 18 September 1911. She received a birthday card from the Queen Elizabeth as she celebrated her 105th birthday in 2016.[3][4]
The Lieutenant Governor also marked the occasion, attending a birthday party at the Ellan Vannin Residential Home in Douglas where she is a resident.
Clarke died in Douglas, Isle of Man, UK on 5 January 2018 at the age of 106 years, 109 days.
