Emi Miura [Japanese: 三浦ヱミ] (24 April 1911 – fl.1 January 2024) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Emi Miura was born in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan on 24 April 1911. In April 2021, she celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.

In September 2023, Miura was reported as the oldest living person in Miyagi Prefecture.

Miura's age was verified by the MHLW, Japan, as well as Yumi Yamamoto and Yu Li, and validated by the GRG on 22 October 2023.

Emi Miura was last confirmed alive in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan on 1 January 2024 at the age of 112 years, 252 days. In September 2024, she went to limbo as 111-year-old Mizu Aizawa was reported as the oldest living person in Miyagi Prefecture.
