Emma Duvoisin (née Herren; 5 July 1886 – 30 September 1997) was a validated Swiss supercentenarian.
Biography
Emma Duvoisin was born in Bern, Switzerland, on 5 July 1886. She became the oldest living person in Switzerland on 18 November 1994, following the death of Cecile Ida Ritter.
As of 2022, Duvoisin remains the oldest validated person ever born in Switzerland and the forth-oldest person (although third validated) to die in Switzerland behind Rosa Rein, Alice Schaufelberger-Hunziker, and Andree Fehr-de Boulay.
Duvoisin died in Geneva, Switzerland, on 30 September 1997 at the age of 111 years, 87 days.
