==Biography==
Erdman Blank was born in Reola, Tartu County, Estonia on 3 March 1918. His mother was Julie Blank. He had three siblings: Hertha Smidt, Alma Kurg, and Laine Tahevali.

He worked as a farmer. He married Endla Toover and had six children (including Elju Herja). He was widowed in 2013.

He became the oldest known living man in Estonia following the death of 106-year-old [[Hugo-Eduard Vaino]] on 9 March 2022.

Blank currently lives in Tartu County, Estonia, at the age of {{AgeYD|1918|3|3}}.
