Erika Kortum (born 7 January 1912) is a German supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography

Erika Kortum was born in Neustadt in Holstein, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany on 7 January 1912.

Her husband were injured in world war ll, and later died. She remembered the Cap Arcona-disaster when she received refugees.

In January 2021 at the age of 109, she received the COVID-19 vaccine, making her one of oldest people to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

In January 2022, she celebrated her 110th birthday.

Kortum currently lives in Holstein, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, at the age of 110 years, 16 days. She is currently the second-oldest known living person in Schleswig-Holstein, behind Josefine Ollmann.
