Ese Gebelek (Turkish: Eşe; 1 July 1894? – 28 March 2023) was a Turkish longevity claimant who was a survivor of COVID-19. Her age is currently unvalidated by the Guinness World Records (GWR).
Biography[]
Ese Gebelek claimed to have been born in Aydın Province, Ottoman Empire (now Turkey) on 1 July 1894.
During the coronavirus pandemic, Gebelek contracted COVID-19. By May 2020, she had successfully recovered.
As of March 2022, she had 13 children (including Hamdullah Gelebek) and around 400 grandchildren.
Gebelek died in Kahramanmaraş Province, Turkey, at the claimed age of 128 years, 270 days.
