Essie Mae Clifton Rones (8 July 1908 – 22 July 2018) was an American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Essie Rones was born in Saint Petersburg, Florida, USA on 8 July 1908. She moved to Gainesville, Florida in the 1960's. She was a member of Old Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.
Rones died in Gainesville, Florida, USA on 22 July 2018 at the age of 110 years, 14 days. She was survived by three daughters Beatrice Enoch (who was also her caretaker), Gussie Williams and Dorothy West and one nephew Michael Fair.
