Esther Linnea Ingeborg Ecklund (née Fagerstrom; 28 October 1901 – 12 March 2014) was a validated Swedish-American supercentenarian.
Biography
Esther Ecklund was born as Esther Linnea Ingeborg Fagerstrom in Norra Sandsjo, Jonkoping County, Sweden, on 28 October 1901. She migrated to the United States in 1919 and settled in the state of New York. She married Aleck Ecklund in Frewsburg, New York, USA, on 14 December 1921. Later, she moved to California.
Ecklund died in Long Beach, California, USA, on 12 March 2014 at the age of 112 years, 135 days.[1]
