Euretta Beatrice Thornton (née St. John; 6 January 1889 - 4 July 1999) was a Canadian supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Euretta Thornton was born as Euretta Beatrice St. John in Beaverton, Ontario County, Ontario, Canada, on 6 January 1889. She had six siblings. She married William Robert Thornton in 1919, and they had one son named Stanley (1923-1943). She was widowed in 1970.
Euretta Thornton died at Victoria Manor in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada, on 4 July 1999, at the age of 110 years, 179 days.
