Eusebia Arango Zulmay viuda de Leiva (12 October 1905? - fl.1 December 2021) was a Colombian longevity claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Guinness World Records (GWR). If her claimed age were validated, she would have been the oldest living person in Colombia, and the oldest living person in the world. She would also be the oldest person ever in Colombia, being older than Sofia Rojas.
Biography[]
Eusebia Arango de Leyva claimed to have been born in Canaletal, San Pablo, Bolivar Department, Colombia on 12 October 1905, the oldest of nine siblings. Her father worked as farmer and lumberjack. She had two children (both deceased as of October 2017).
She attributes her longevity to the fact that when she grew up there was a lot of food and good and cheap. She also attributes her longevity to the fact that "one is here is because of God, because since God needs you, one takes her away, and since she doesn't need me yet, that's why she still here".
