Eva C. Hoover (née Dohner; 3 May 1908 – 15 May 2018) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group
Biography
Eva C. Hoover was born in Miami County, Ohio, USA, on 3 May 1908. Her parents were Albert and Martha Dohner. She married Samuel G. Hoover in Pleasant Hill, Ohio, on 21 March 1933, and were married for 71 years until his death in 2004. They had four children together. She retired in 1964 after 19 years of service as a cook for Concord Schools. She was a member of the Brethren in Christ Church of Pleasant Hill and enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and quilting.
Hoover died on 15 May 2018 in Ludlow Falls, Ohio, at the age of 110 years, 12 days. At the time of her death, she had six grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
