John Evald Holmgren (3 October 1914 – 21 March 2022) was a Swedish centenarian.
Biography[]
John Evald Holmgren was born in Sweden on 3 October 1914.
On 3 October 2014, he turned 100.
Following the death of 111-year-old Carl Mattsson of Stromstad on 24 July 2019, he became the oldest living man in Vastra Gotaland.
He died in Tidaholm, Vastra Gotaland, Sweden on 21 March 2022 at the age of 107 years, 169 days. At the time, he was the oldest Tidaholm resident and the third-oldest known living man in Sweden. His funeral was held on 20 April 2022.
