Ezio Ongaro (20 June 1907 – 12 April 2017) was a Croatian-Italian centenarian who, at the time of his death, was the oldest living Croatian-born man and the second-oldest known living man in Italy (behind Valerio Piroddi).
Biography
Ongaro was born in Labin, Istria County, Croatia, (then Austria-Hungary) on 20 June 1907. Later he moved to Italy where he stayed for the rest of his life.
Ongaro died in Milan, Lombardy region, Italy on 12 April 2017 at 109 years, 296 days. At the time of his death, he was the oldest known man ever born on the territory of present-day Croatia.
