Ferencne Vadasz [Hungarian: Ferencné Vadász] (née Anna Fidinger; 26 November 1893 – c. 21 June 2001) was a Hungarian centenarian who was the oldest known living person in the Hungary at the time of her death.

Biography

Ferencne Vadasz was born in Iszkaszentgyorgy, Fejer County, Austria-Hungary (present-day Hungary) on 26 November 1893.

She married and had two children. Her husband was killed in action during the First World War. Anna never remarried, so she was a widow for approximately 85 years.

She mainly worked on the lands in her life, and also spent some time as a housewife and cooking for children in a kindergarten.

She became the oldest known living person in Hungary, following the death of 110-year-old Jozsefne Szucs on 17 December 2000.

Ferencne Vadasz died in Szekesfehervar, Fejer County, Hungary around 21 June 2001 at the age of 107 years, c.207 days. At the time of her death, she had four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Following her death, then-107-year-old Sandorne Csiki became the oldest known living person in Hungary.
