Charlotte Jane McLauchlin (9 January 1912 – 24 April 2023) was an American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was the oldest known person living in the U.S. state of Indiana.
Biography[]
McLauchlin was born in Sturgis, St. Joseph County, Michigan, USA on 9 January 1912. Her parents were James and Charlotte (née Carter) McLauchlin. In January 2022, she celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
McLauchlin became the oldest known person living in Indiana on 5 July 2021, aged 109, following the death of 111-year-old Bernice Bohannon. She died in Elkhart, Indiana, USA on 24 April 2023 at the age of 111 years, 105 days.
