Herminia dos Santos Correa (17 July 1910 – 27 September 2020) was a Portuguese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Herminia dos Santos Correa was born in Vale de Asnes, Mirandela, Braganca District, Portugal, on 17 July 1910. She worked in agriculture. She had three children.
Around the age of 107, she suffered a stroke and was hospitalized at the Santa Casa Misericordia Mirandela Hospital in Mirandela. She celebrated her 110th birthday in July 2020. At that time, she had 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Herminia dos Santos Correa died in Vale de Asnes, Mirandela, Braganca District, Portugal on 27 September 2020 at the age of 110 years, 72 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest known living person in Braganca District, and the third-oldest known living person in Portugal, behind Maria da Encarnacao Sousa and Albano Andrade.
